Target Field

Melissa and I went to the Twins home opener on Monday. Holy Crap! What a fun time. I love baseball, always have and always will, but now that the Twins are playing in their new stadium the season is going to be better then ever. The new stadium is amazing. It is beautiful and is a great place to watch a game. Our seats are incredible and I am very happy with them. Anyway, the home opener was incredible, besides the Twins winning the game we got to see the first home run at the park. Luckily it was a Twin that hit it so that was great. Jason Kubel took a 2-2 pitch over the right field fence. It was a great moment in team history and it was fun to be a part of it.

This is going to be a really fun season of baseball. We have a 20 game package which will turn into about 23 games this season. I bought an couple extra games and Melissa and I were invited to a game with our financial advisor. We can't wait for that. Whats better then a baseball game? A free baseball game.

Like I said the stadium is amazing and the Twins did it right. Everything really is top notch. It is fun to be kind of the center of the baseball universe for now. Everyone is talking about the Twins and that is pretty cool. I can't remember a time when there has been this much buzz around Minnesota baseball.

In other news I signed up to play on my companies golf league. I am really looking forward to getting out there again. I haven't played much golf in the past year or so and I am really looking forward to playing a bit this summer. I started playing golf when I was about 9 with my dad and played a lot growing up. I sort of quit playing about 4 years ago when other things came up, but I have decided that I really miss it and like I said I am looking forward to getting back out there...

Life is good, I am looking forward to summer. I have been out biking a few times already and it is fun again. Last year I didn't have much fun biking so I didn't do it much which I think was smart for me. It made me miss biking and want to get back on my bike and ride this year. Life is good...
